I have never had an estate sale. I do however like to shop them. I like the idea of no bartering and prices are clearly labeled. I happened upon a Susie's sale in Sun Lakes. I was looking for outdoor furniture. I was pleased and surprised by the quality and price for the sets. I bought two matching solid patio sets. The first was a bar table with two bar chairs. Listed at $125. The second set was a large table with six chairs. Listed at $250. They had teal color cushions. They where matching sets. I said I was going to purchase and when I said both sets I was informed I would get a discount as they were trying to not break up the sets. I thought wow they are considering the owner as well as the customer. By taking both I paid $300. I had to make two trips to get them home but they worked with me and took care of the pieces left behind in the first trip. I used both of the sets for over five years and sold them due to downsizing for $250. I am one happy camper! I will be out and see a Susie's sale sign and stop even if I am not looking for anything in particular. Great friendly environment and they were so busy. If you want to find a good home for your used items Susie's is the best way to go. I also want to add that when I was picking up my second load there was a DAVE truck picking up all the unsold items. I am so pleased with Susie's Estate Sales. My things were not the best but when she came into my home she was very pleasant. I signed a contract with her and she explained to me not to interfere with the sale. I understand why, and I feel she is very smart for doing it this way. I know I may have gotten sentimental about some of my belongings and not wanted them sold. I think it's great that she donated anything that wasn't sold to charity. I would have done the same thing. A Real Quick Note!
Need an estate sale?
DON'T THROW OUT ANYTHING WORTH SELLING!
Call us when you are even thinking of an estate sale. Our potential customers are running into problems with time.You must give yourself enough time to get booked for an estate sale.
Rule of thumb; most estate sale companies are booked at least a month ahead of time. IE: if the month is mid April and you close the end of April and need the sale in the next week, we cannot perform an estate sale rather, you may have the option for a buy-out only. Please understand that buy-outs are just pennies on the dollar; only if there is an available buy out person/company.
In the fall & winter months of 2016 - we are booked 2 months out.

Be sure go through the home and shred unwanted documents such as items with your/their address, social security number, bank statements, etc. Remove all wanted family photos and other items that you would like to keep - and clean the home along the way - as needed. If you have time to go through and turn the homes over, sometimes into a disaster after we have signed up a contract with you, you should have enough time to clean the home.
We are experiencing being forced to clean dust ridden homes which takes more time for set up and we reserve the right to charge a higher percentage of the gross proceeds. If there is dust, there are dust mites and Susie's team ends up suffering with allergies and itchy skin. Please take the time and clean your or your loved ones home before we enter the property - we are not glorified house cleaners.
Hoarders houses will be asked for an $8,000 non refundable deposit plus 45% of the gross proceeds
before a contract is signed and the property locked into a date.
We are no longer offering BUY OUTS. This means the items that are left over at the end of the sale and a person comes in to clear out the home for pennies on the dollar. Rather, the unsold items will be left for the homeowner to with what they may.
If you have given yourself enough time, contact Susie to view the estate in its entirety and sign a contract to lock your estate in for an estate sale.
